The 2024 Genesis G70 has a starting price of $42,695, which is an increase of $2,170

The 2024 Genesis G70 outshines its 2023 predecessor, particularly the base model. Genesis recently unveiled the new engine in the G70 2.5T, a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder previously only available in the entry-level trim of the Kia Stinger. With 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, the 2.5-liter engine provides a 48 horsepower and 51 pound-feet improvement over the previous model. Not only does the 2.5-liter offer better power across the rev band, but it also delivers smoother and quicker boost from the turbo. The addition of standard Brembo brakes further enhances performance.

Both the 2.5T and the 3.3T models have received exterior and interior updates, including new color options, two-tone leather interiors, USB-C charging ports, touch-sensitive climate controls, and a frameless rearview mirror. Additionally, the rear seats now feature side-impact airbags, and Genesis’ telematics service offers access to the automaker’s Digital Key.

While MSRPs have increased, the destination charge has risen by $70 to $1,195. The pricing for the 2024 G70, including destination, and the differences from the 2023 model are as follows:

– G70 2.5T: $42,695 ($2,170 increase)
– G70 3.3T: $51,145 ($5,120 increase)

These prices are for rear-drive versions, with the all-wheel-drive option adding $2,100 to the cost.

The significant price increase for the 3.3T model accounts for the now-standard Sport Advanced Package, which was previously a $4,300 option. This means that every 2024 3.3T model will include ventilated front seats, a sunroof, power folding side mirrors, dark chrome grille and greenhouse trim, and 19-inch sport wheels. Furthermore, the price of the Sport Prestige Package has been nearly halved, now costing $4,400 and offering upgrades like a Nappa leather interior, microfiber headliner and pillar linings, a head-up display, and a power trunk. In the 2024 model, Sport Prestige is a separate package instead of being included in the Sport Advanced Package.
