Subaru has announced the pricing and updates for the complete 2024 WRX lineup, which adds a new TR (Tuner Ready) variant to the existing base, Premium, Limited, and GT trim levels. In addition to introducing the new trim level, Subaru is making several adjustments to the WRX for 2024. The base model will no longer be offered with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and will feature a six-speed manual transmission as standard. Every 2024 WRX will also come equipped with Subaru’s EyeSight suite of electronic driving aids, previously only available on CVT-equipped models. This system includes adaptive cruise control, lane centering, automatic emergency braking, and pre-collision brake assist. Furthermore, every WRX trim level will now come with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, as opposed to a wired connection in previous models.
The 2024 WRX range is priced as follows, including a $1,120 destination charge:
-WRX (six-speed manual-only): $33,855
-WRX Premium (six-speed manual): $35,755
-WRX Premium (CVT): $37,105
-WRX Limited (six-speed manual): $40,135
-WRX Limited (CVT): $41,685
-WRX TR (six-speed manual-only): $42,775 (new for 2024)
-WRX GT (CVT-only): $45,335
Standard features for the base WRX include an 11.6-inch touchscreen for the StarLink infotainment system, 17-inch wheels with summer performance tires, automatic LED headlights, and hill-start assist. Additionally, buyers can opt for a package that includes an 11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and a moonroof for the Premium model equipped with the six-speed manual transmission.
Under the hood, the 2024 WRX continues to be powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four engine producing 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, mated to standard all-wheel-drive. Subaru dealers will begin receiving the 2024 WRX in January 2024. These notable updates and enhancements make the 2024 WRX a compelling choice for automotive enthusiasts looking for a high-performance vehicle with the latest features and technology.
