Stunning Cadillac Concept Car Breaks Free from GM’s Vault

The Cadillac Expressive, a concept coupe that has been kept hidden in GM’s “Vault” for years, recently made a surprising appearance at the Eyes on Design show near Detroit. While it’s unclear why this striking concept was never unveiled before, its long, low nose and wide haunches undoubtedly catch the eye.

Inspired by Cadillac’s design language of the past, the Expressive features elements from the Escala, including skinny headlights and a thick C-pillar. With the success of the CT5 and CT4 sedans, Cadillac acknowledges the influence of the Expressive on their current lineup.

Although Cadillac’s current designs are influenced by the futuristic Celestiq concept, many enthusiasts would love to see a new Cadillac coupe. By updating the Expressive with a fastback roof and unique rear pillar taillights, Cadillac could potentially reintroduce a stylish coupe to its lineup. Perhaps sharing a platform with a next-gen Camaro could make this dream a reality. The automotive world eagerly awaits a new Cadillac coupe – it’s time to bring back that cool factor.
