The Mercedes-Benz G-Class Stronger Than Diamonds Edition includes real diamonds

Mercedes-Benz is celebrating Valentine’s Day in a big way by launching a limited-edition version of the G-Class known as Stronger Than Diamonds. This special model features real diamonds, a custom paint color, and several unique interior accents, making it a truly luxurious and exclusive vehicle option for the brand’s most discerning customers.

The G-Class Stronger Than Diamonds is based on the G550, showcasing a stunning new shade called Manufaktur Rosewood Gray Magno, specially created for this model. This bold color is complemented by a striking black roof panel, embossed diamond logos on the exterior door handles, and black-finished wheels. The exterior design is a true reflection of luxury and exclusivity.

Upon unlocking the doors, owners will be greeted by a luxurious surprise – a 0.25-carat diamond embedded into each of the four stainless-steel door locks. Additionally, the interior is expected to feature black leather upholstery with Rosé-colored contrast stitching, embodying elegance and sophistication.

Under the hood, the G550 Stronger Than Diamonds Edition is equipped with a powerful 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine, delivering an impressive 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission, this model accelerates from zero to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds, offering both power and performance.

Mercedes-Benz plans to produce only 300 units of the G550 Stronger Than Diamonds Edition worldwide. While details on availability and pricing in specific markets are yet to be confirmed, this exclusive model is expected to be rare, highly sought-after, and accordingly expensive. Each unit will also come with an indoor car cover and a certificate from the Responsible Jewelry Council.

Considering the base 2024 G550 model is priced at $144,150 including the destination charge, the Stronger Than Diamonds Edition, with its unique features, custom paint color, and real diamonds, is anticipated to command a premium, potentially reaching around $200,000. This limited edition G-Class is truly a collector’s item, catering to the desires of the most discerning customers in the automotive industry.
