The electrified V6 in the 2024 Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid receives an update

The 2024 Porsche Panamera lineup is set to offer around ten base variants. The third-generation sports sedan is already turning heads with its initial offerings, including the V6-powered Panamera and Panamera 4, and the V8-powered Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid. However, the lineup doesn’t stop there, as two more hybrid trims are making their debut – the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and Panamera 4S E-Hybrid.

These new hybrid trims are equipped with twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter six-cylinder engines, adding electric power to the mix. With the 4 E-Hybrid boasting 300 horsepower from its V6 engine and the 4S E-Hybrid unleashing 348 horses, both trims are set to deliver an impressive driving experience. The 4 E-Hybrid achieves a total output of 463 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, while the 4S E-Hybrid reaches 536 hp and 553 lb-ft.

What’s more, the 2024 Panamera hybrids come with a larger battery, featuring a 25.9-kWh gross capacity, and a faster 11-kW onboard charger that allows for quicker recharging.

In terms of driving modes, the hybrids offer six selections to manage the interplay of combustion and electricity. These options include Pure E-Power electric mode, Hybrid mode, E-Hold mode, E-Charge mode, Sport mode, and Sport Plus mode. With these advanced features, drivers can optimize their driving experience and maximize battery usage.

Customers can expect a generous list of standard features, including 14-way comfort seats, a heated steering wheel, soft-close doors, and advanced driving aids such as lane change assist with rear cross-traffic alert. The overall driving experience is also enhanced with specific enhancements for each trim, such as varying wheel sizes, brake caliper colors, and other performance-focused elements.

Furthermore, upgrades in technology, performance, and aesthetics have been made to the 2024 Panamera, ensuring a premium driving experience. With the 4 E-Hybrid starting at $117,495 and the 4S E-Hybrid at $128,795, the entire lineup is expected to roll out later in the year.

As we eagerly anticipate the launch of these initial models, we can also look forward to the subsequent arrival of the Panamera in 4S, GTS, Turbo S, and Turbo S E-Hybrid trims, providing automotive enthusiasts with a wide range of options to suit their driving preferences and needs.
