One-of-a-Kind Rolls-Royce Spectre with Marbled Paint Spill Design on Hood

In recent years, two prominent trends have significantly influenced the design department at Rolls-Royce. The first is the increasing demand for bespoke, one-of-a-kind vehicles, while the second is the growing interest of younger buyers towards the brand. The Spectre Semaphore, a unique creation, embodies both of these trends with its remarkable design, including the eye-catching Marbled Paint Spill hood.

Commissioned by a discerning customer, the Spectre Semaphore immediately captivates with its striking Bespoke Semaphore Yellow paint color. Upon closer inspection, its uniqueness becomes even more apparent. The hood boasts a distinctive swirl-like finish known as the Marbled Paint Spill, inspired by the casual elegance of coastal California. Achieving this finish required over 160 hours of meticulous design and production work, involving the application of silver lacquer and multiple layers of clearcoat for a flawless result.

The theme of yellow extends to the interior, where a blend of Bespoke Lemon Yellow and Citrine Yellow upholstery adorns the seats, door panels, and dashboard. The Starlight illumination, originally developed for headliners, adds a touch of luxury to the interior. Grace White and Slate Gray accents complement the overall look. Even the stalks and digital instrument cluster feature yellow elements, creating a cohesive aesthetic throughout.

To create the interior trim, Rolls-Royce used pieces of wood painted with Cashmere Gray infused with silver mica flakes, matching the Slate Gray accents on the seats. This unique touch adds a subtle sparkle when viewed under direct light, enhancing the interior’s opulence.

Powered by dual electric motors connected to a 102-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack, the Spectre Semaphore boasts a total output of 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. With an EPA-estimated driving range of 264 to 291 miles, depending on the trim level and wheel size, this bespoke creation offers both performance and efficiency.

Rolls-Royce will unveil the one-of-a-kind Spectre Semaphore at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering on August 16 in Monterey, California, showcasing the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation in the automotive industry.
