Riding on 20-inch wheels with more off-road-ready tires, the Trail Boss comes standard with the 6.6-liter gas V8, with the option to upgrade to the 6.6-liter turbodiesel V8.

In terms of other updates to the Silverado HD lineup, enhancements are primarily focused on smaller features. Parking sensors can now be added to the WT, Custom, and LT trims, while the ZR2 comes with the feature as standard. Adaptive Cruise Control is now a standard feature on the High Country trim. The Custom trim offers a Black-Out Package option, and the Midnight Edition now includes 20-inch wheels.
