Bentley представляет новейшую гибридную модель Flying Spur мощностью 771 л.с.

The introduction of the plug-in hybrid drivetrain in the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed set the stage for a significant expansion within the Bentley lineup. Following this successful launch, Bentley has officially confirmed that the plug-in hybrid system will now power the upcoming updated version of the Flying Spur, expected to debut by the end of this year.

Despite the transition from the Continental GT Speed to the Flying Spur, the powertrain remains consistent. Anchored by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the system delivers an impressive output of around 771 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. The incorporation of hybrid technology will grant the new Flying Spur an additional 150 horsepower compared to its predecessor, although an increase in weight is to be expected.

Equipped with a fully charged battery, the Flying Spur will be capable of traveling over 45 miles on electric power alone and boasts a total driving range exceeding 500 miles when both the battery and fuel tank are full. With the electric motor contributing instantaneous torque, the performance of the vehicle is anticipated to be exceptionally potent.

Although the preview image released by Bentley offers only a glimpse of the next Flying Spur’s design, subtle updates such as redesigned lights with a distinctive appearance and a revised lower bumper with smaller vents hint at a comprehensive refresh rather than a complete overhaul. Mirroring the approach taken with the Continental GT, Bentley emphasizes that a significant portion of the new model comprises updated components.

It is reasonable to expect enhancements within the cabin of the 2025 Flying Spur, including the integration of cutting-edge technologies. While details are still forthcoming, it remains unclear whether the new model will be exclusively offered as a hybrid or if alternative, non-electrified drivetrains will be available. In the absence of the formidable 6.0-liter W12 engine, the current Flying Spur lineup consists of the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and a plug-in hybrid system centered around a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6.

Further information regarding the next-generation Flying Spur is set to be revealed “in due course,” according to Bentley, fueling anticipation within the automotive industry for the impending launch.
