If you have even a passing interest in automobiles, it’s likely that names like Porsche, Bugatti, and Lamborghini ring a bell. However, there are several lesser-known but equally fascinating brands in the automotive world, such as Vector Aeromotive, Isdera, and Cizeta.

For car collectors with deep pockets, the upcoming RM Sotheby’s auction during Monterey Car Week in California promises a unique selection of rare and exotic vehicles. In addition to the expected Ferraris and Lamborghinis, the so-called “Turbollection” collection stands out for its unusual offerings.

Among the highlights are the 1993 Bugatti EB110 SS Prototype, a rare super sport model that participated in a speed test at the Nardo Ring to claim the title of the world’s fastest production car. Another standout is the 1993 Vector Avtech WX-3 Prototype, featuring a twin-turbocharged, 7.0-liter V-8 engine producing 1,000 hp. Also up for auction is the 1991 Isdera Imperator 108i Series 2, known for its striking design and Mercedes-Benz V-8 power.

The 1993 Cizeta V16T, ordered by the Royal Family of Brunei and displayed at the Geneva Motor Show, is another rare find. Finally, the 1985 Porsche 959 ‘Vorserie’ is a truly unique piece of automotive history, being one of only five surviving V-series 959 prototypes.

With their rich histories and exceptional features, these vehicles are sure to attract the attention of discerning collectors and automotive enthusiasts alike.
