Learn Real-Time Track Driving with Lamborghini Telemetry X

Lamborghini has been making headlines at CES, showcasing new technologies in the pipeline. One of these is Telemetry X, an experimental track connectivity system combining three technologies to help drivers set faster lap times.

Telemetry X builds on Lamborghini’s current telemetry system and on the company’s years of racing experience. It integrates the Real-Time Remote Garage, the Biometric Data System, and the Digital Co-Pilot. The Real-Time Remote Garage records and displays real-time videos and telemetry data of a driver’s on-track performance, while 5G connectivity allows a remote driving coach to provide guidance through a headset. The Biometric Data System monitors the driver’s biometric data and sends it to the coach, while the Digital Co-Pilot, a voice assistant, analyzes the data to give additional feedback on driving performance.

While still in the prototype stage, Lamborghini hints at Telemetry X’s future production. Stephan Winklemann, the company’s CEO, emphasized that Telemetry X is a glimpse of the connected services that customers will experience in the years to come. Additionally, Lamborghini has announced major product launches planned for the near future, including the successor to the Huracán and its first electric model set to launch in 2028.
