The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E allegedly receives a new pricing update to stay competitive

Recently, Ford made some significant moves in the electric vehicle (EV) market, particularly with the pricing of the 2023 Mustang Mach-E. In an effort to stay competitive with Tesla, Ford reduced prices on the 2023 model and added attractive incentives to maintain its second-place position in EV popularity. However, the latest development comes from a dealer bulletin announcing that the 2024 Mustang Mach-E pricing will remain similar to the 2023 MSRPs. This adjustment is crucial as the original pricing for the 2024 model year would have resulted in a considerable price increase, ranging from $3,600 to $6,000 more than the previous model.

The updated MSRPs for the 2024 Mach-E models, with differences from the current 2023 pricing after the $1,800 destination charge, are as follows:
– Select RWD: $41,795 ($100)
– Select AWD: $45,295 ($600)
– Premium RWD: $45,795 ($1,100)
– Premium AWD: $48,795 ($1,100)
– Premium Ext. Range Battery RWD: $48,795 ($1,100)
– Premium Ext. Range Battery AWD: $51,795 ($1,100)
– GT: $55,795 ($1,600)

Interestingly, the California Route 1 option is no longer available for ordering due to high demand. While the Premium model is still listed on the website, the California Route 1 has been omitted, with Ford citing “unprecedented demand” for the change. Additionally, the entry-level 2023 Mach-E Select AWD trim with the extended-range battery option is no longer offered.

For those considering a purchase, there are still incentives for the 2023 Mach-E models, including 0% APR financing for 72 months on all trims and cashback offers for the GT trim and leasing options. As for the upcoming 2024 Mach-E Rally model, it has been priced at $61,795 after destination, but there is some confusion regarding an additional $1,500 option code. The exact details of this option code and whether it is included in the MSRP have not been clarified yet, but official pricing information is expected to be released in the coming weeks.

Overall, these developments in the Mustang Mach-E lineup offer valuable insights for potential buyers navigating the evolving EV market and the competitive landscape within the automotive industry.
