GMC offers a sneak peek of the 2025 Yukon AT4, expected to mirror the design of the 2025 Suburban

The 2025 GMC Yukon is starting to make its debut, offering a sneak peek of the front fascia in the AT4 trim. As this is a refresh, major changes to the hard points are not expected.

Compared to the current Yukon, the new model will emphasize horizontal breadth instead of the central focus on a large grille and skid plate area. The taller C-shaped headlights on the 2025 model feature a shorter horizontal element at the top, which no longer extends all the way to the grille surround. A new body-colored piece separates the top element from the three main beams below, extending from the grille cradle. Additionally, the lower bumper treatment is expected to bring a more aggressive look compared to the current version. The entire bumper will now be black and will wrap around into the fenders, replacing the black centerpiece that houses the skid plate and tow hooks. The grille remains similar, but its crossbars have been reprofiled for an updated appearance.

Just like its Chevrolet counterparts, the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the Yukon is likely to receive refinements to the independent rear suspension, new wheel designs, and the availability of the second-generation 3.0-liter Duramax inline-six engine producing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. Inside, a new instrument panel with a 17.7-inch touchscreen for infotainment and a column shifter replacing the push buttons are expected. Updated trim materials and an overdue infotainment upgrade should enhance the luxury feel of the interior.

Continuing with the latest tech features, buyers can likely expect the Connected Cameras feature for crash and security purposes, as well as an Interior Motion Detection system that can detect movements in the cabin. To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the AT4 trim and the 25th anniversary of the Denali trim in 2024, the Yukon may offer additional features that set it apart from its Chevy siblings.

Stay tuned for the official reveal of the 2025 GMC Yukon, scheduled after the new Acadia begins shipping to dealers later this year.
