Ford Bronco manual transmission prices increase by $500 in 2024

Towards the end of December, Ford implemented a modest price increase of $200 on various 2024 Ford Bronco models. This recent uptick in pricing follows previous increases that occurred in August 2023. The initial hike ranged from zero dollars on the base trim to $2,625 on the Bronco Raptor. Subsequent price adjustments were also made on the tail end of 2023 Bronco production, four months prior to the latest increase. Now, two months into 2024, Ford has raised the Bronco’s price point slightly, particularly affecting models with manual transmissions. A new $500 price increase has been introduced for these vehicles, while models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, a $1,495 option, will retain their current pricing.

According to information from the Bronco configurator, the latest MSRPs, factoring in the $1,895 destination fee, are as follows for 2-door models:

– Big Bend: $41,525 ($500 increase)
– Black Diamond: $45,225 ($500 increase)
– Heritage: $50,450 ($500 increase)
– Badlands: $51,990 ($500 increase)
– Wildtrak: $62,120 (Automatic only, no change)
– Heritage Limited: $71,580 (Automatic only, change)

For 4-door models, the latest MSRPs are:

– Big Bend: $42,265 ($500 increase)
– Black Diamond: $45,965 ($700 increase)
– Outer Banks: $49,085 ($750 decrease)
– Heritage: $51,370 ($500 increase)
– Badlands: $53,280 ($500 increase)
– Everglades: $57,615 (Automatic only, no change)
– Wildtrak: $62,660 (Automatic only, no change)
– Heritage Limited: $73,000 (Automatic only, no change)
– Raptor: $91,930 (Automatic only, no change)

It is worth noting that the reasons behind the $700 increase in price for the four-door Black Diamond and the $750 decrease for the Outer Banks model remain unclear.

When comparing the 2024 Wrangler and Bronco, excluding the Wrangler’s entry-level Sport trim, the pricing gap ranges from $90 to a couple of thousand dollars. The four-door Bronco Badlands is priced $90 higher than the Rubicon Unlimited, while the Rubicon X Unlimited costs $530 more than the four-door Wildtrak. To compete with the popular Jeep Wrangler, Ford has started offering lease deals on specific trims and introducing a Jeep Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash incentive for dealers in select regions. These incentives aim to attract customers to the Bronco lineup, especially considering the challenges posed by manual transmission price increases. Customers can still find opportunities to save on a new Bronco, although the savings may be slightly less than before for models featuring manual transmissions.
