Audi Q5 2024: Minor Updates with Slight Price Increase

Featuring an image of the 2024 Audi Q5, the latest updates for the 2021 model year have brought some noteworthy changes across all body styles, including the addition of standard Audi Active Lane Assist and a heated steering wheel with hands-on detection to every trim. Additionally, the myAudi app now includes the remote engine start feature for all trims except the Q5 PHEV.

Furthermore, buyers who choose navigation on Q5’s of Premium and Prestige flavors will receive a six-month free trial of Audi Connect Plus, providing access to native and third-party apps such as Spotify and Yelp, as well as gaming, parking, charging, and news services.

For those interested in aesthetic enhancements, the Black Optic Package is available for the Q5 40 Premium Plus and Prestige trims, boasting black exterior jewelry and black roof rails. The Q5 45 cabin also includes standard sport seats and Gray-Brown Birch natural wood inlays. Additionally, the Black Optic Package for the Q45 Premium Plus and Prestige trims, and the Q 55 e PHEV, incorporates various blacked-out elements such as Audi rings, model badge, and roof rails, as well as red brake calipers and high-gloss black front spoiler.

The range also sees the replacement of the Ibis White exterior paint with Arkona White, while the MSRP increase varies from $0 to $800, depending on the trim level.

In terms of pricing after the $1,195 destination charge, the MSRP for each trim is as follows:
– Q5 40: $45,795 ($400 increase)
– Q5 45: $48,695 ($800 increase)
– Q5 55: $58,995 ($400 increase)
– Q5 Sportback: $52,695 ($500 increase)
– SQ5: $58,195 ($500 increase)
– SQ5 Sportback: $61,095 (no change)

Powering the lineup is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission, with the Q5 40 producing 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. The Q 45 and Q5 Sportback offer an elevated output of 261 hp and 273 lb-ft, while the Q 55 e PHEV delivers an impressive 362 hp and 369 lb-ft. The SQ5, on the other hand, is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 generating 349 hp and 369 lb-ft, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
