Skip once summer arrives. I opted for a trailer hitch, because I like to ride bikes and this cool Macan would be a great car to take to the trailhead. I also added rear wheel steering for better manoeuvering, adaptive cruise control for easier highway driving and the sport chrono package, because before I was a car writer I was a sports reporter (unrelated but maybe not). All told, I priced out the Macan at $94,100. That’s more reasonable than I’d expect, but I also didn’t go crazy with every option. So if I had to guess, I suspect I would end up closer to $110,000 by the time I finished choosing everything I would want.
