In 2023, Rolls-Royce Achieves Record-Breaking Delivery of 6,000 Cars in One Year

Rolls-Royce Sets New Sales Record with 6,032 Cars Delivered Worldwide

Rolls-Royce had a very successful year in terms of sales, as the luxury British automaker delivered more cars than ever before in its 119-year history. Despite ongoing economic uncertainties and market volatility, the company sold a record-breaking 6,032 cars globally.

The United States continues to be the largest market for Rolls-Royce, closely followed by China. The best-selling models for Rolls-Royce in the previous year were the Cullinan SUV, followed by the Ghost, the smaller of the brand’s two saloons.

The year 2023 marked the introduction of Rolls-Royce’s first all-electric Spectre model, which saw affluent customers take possession of the vehicle in the autumn. The production of Spectre followed the discontinuation of the brand’s Wraith and Dawn models.

All Rolls-Royce cars are manufactured in Goodwood, southern England, with the high-end brand becoming part of BMW in 1998.

In recent times, Rolls-Royce has been placing increased emphasis on its custom Bespoke division, which typically results in higher profit builds. Options offered through the Bespoke division include special paint, styling cues, and unique interior scents, all available at an additional cost.

Current CEO Chris Brownridge, who took over the role last autumn, expressed excitement around the significant interest and demand for the Spectre model. He also highlighted the brand’s commitment to a bold, all-electric strategy for future model development and production.

Notably, Rolls-Royce’s North American division announced a rare price reduction for certain “aging” models in dealer inventories, offering a discount of $15,000 for cars sold by the end of March. The Cullinan, Black Badge Cullinan, Ghost, Ghost Extended, and Black Badge Ghost models are all eligible for this limited-time offer.

Torsten Muller-Otvos, the previous CEO who led the group since 2010, oversaw the record-setting performances before departing the company in November. The brand’s continuous growth and strategic advancements position Rolls-Royce as a prominent player in the luxury automotive sector.
