Design Your Own Custom Graphic Wrap for the Volkswagen ID. Buzz

Volkswagen is embracing the beloved vibe of the Bus with the upcoming launch of the ID. Buzz in the United States. In anticipation of the second annual “International Bus Day” on June 2, VW has revealed a new custom graphics program in partnership with Wrapmate.

Prospective ID. Buzz owners will have the opportunity to create their own unique designs or choose from a selection crafted by Volkswagen and collaborating artists. Volkswagen has promised to unveil exclusive designs over time, with the initial creation showcased in the images above. Designed by Bob Hieronimus, the “Love the Earth” wrap symbolizes VW’s transition to electric vehicles and sustainable practices. Featuring the phrase “Love the Earth” in 25 languages, the wrap promotes global unity. Notably, Hieronimus previously collaborated with VW to recreate the iconic “Light Bus” from Woodstock 1969.

The custom wraps available through Wrapmate will be crafted from high-quality 3M vinyl. Installation services will be offered at any of Wrapmate’s 2,000 certified wrap installers nationwide. Customers will have the opportunity to design their own wraps using Wrapmate’s upcoming 3D configurator set to launch in beta mode on June 2. Once the preferred design is finalized, orders can be placed through Wrapmate’s online platform or at select Volkswagen dealerships starting in fall 2024 (pricing details are pending).
