Willow Springs International Raceway is now available for purchase

Willow Springs International Raceway, often referred to as the “Fastest Road in the West,” is a historic gem nestled in Southern California, just an hour away from Los Angeles. Established in 1953 with the help of legendary figure Ken Miles, the raceway has evolved over the years under the stewardship of Bill and Maxine Huth, who purchased it in 1962. Now, the iconic 600-acre complex is up for sale through listing agents Team Scarborough.

This magnificent racing facility boasts seven distinct tracks, including the famous Big Willow 2.5-mile road course, Horse Thief Mile, Kart Track, and the Streets of Willow Springs. Additionally, there is a diverse range of off-roading options spread across 160 desert acres, catering to all types of motorsport enthusiasts.

Beyond the tracks, Willow Springs also offers various amenities such as administrative areas, dining and catering spaces, gift shops, a fuel depot, pit complexes, and essential facilities required for an operational racing track. Water wells on the property ensure a reliable water supply in the inland desert location.

Stephanie Huth, daughter of the late Bill Huth, expressed excitement about passing on the legacy of Willow Springs to new stewards, highlighting the track’s rich history and potential for growth. Interested buyers are invited to submit an offering memorandum to initiate the purchase process. Despite the need for some investment, the assessed value of $2,253,440 presents an attractive opportunity, especially considering the track’s significance in the automotive world.

Whether you’re looking to invest in a piece of racing history or simply appreciate the heritage of Willow Springs International Raceway, exploring the timeline and family legacy of this iconic establishment is a must for any automotive enthusiast.
