Unveiling of Red Bull’s 2024 Formula 1 car

Oracle Red Bull Racing recently unveiled its RB20 Formula 1 racer, celebrating the team’s 20th year in F1. The RB20, revealed at the Red Bull Technology Campus in the UK, shares many similarities with its predecessor, the championship-winning RB19, including its livery.

The RB19’s 21 victories in the 2023 Grand Prix season, with Max Verstappen securing his third world championship, demonstrated the car’s dominance. With a staggering 451-point lead over their closest competitor, Mercedes, Red Bull Racing and driver Sergio Perez achieved a remarkable one-two finish in the 2023 points standings.

The RB19’s record-breaking performance has solidified its place as one of the most dominant cars in F1 history, surpassing the benchmark set by the Honda-powered McLaren MP4/4 in 1988. The RB20, powered by Honda engines, aims to build on this success.

With 20 years in the industry, Red Bull Racing has defied early skepticism to become a major force in F1. What began as a modest team with a few hundred employees has now grown to a workforce of 1,500. The team’s commitment to injecting fun and excitement into the sport has been evident from the beginning, as seen in former driver David Coulthard’s memorable celebration at the Monaco Grand Prix.

As the RB20 joins the lineup for the 2024 season, anticipation grows for another exciting year of Formula 1 racing.
