The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello: A Convertible Inspired by Wine

Maserati’s collaboration with Italy’s wine industry has resulted in a unique and exclusive creation: the one-off GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello. This special edition electric convertible pays homage to 50 years of the renowned Tignanello wine by Marchesi Antinori.

Crafted by Maserati’s Fuoriserie department, the GranCabrio Tignanello boasts design elements inspired by vineyards. The custom Terra di Tignanello red paint complements the black accents, including 20-inch wheels, brake calipers, and a soft top. Inside, the blend of beige leather and burgundy Vegea upholstery, reminiscent of grape-based biomaterial, along with vineyard-inspired seat stripes and oak barrel-inspired trim, create a unique and luxurious ambiance.

Under the hood, the GranCabrio Tignanello is propelled by three electric motors connected to a 92.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, generating an impressive 750 horsepower and 995 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain enables a swift zero-to-60-mph time of 2.8 seconds for this 5,200-pound convertible.

For automotive and wine enthusiasts alike, the opportunity to own the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello awaits. This exceptional vehicle will be auctioned at the Festival Napa Valley Arts for All Gala on July 14 in California, with proceeds benefiting charity. While the standard GranCabrio Folgore starts at approximately $205,000, the unique Tignanello edition is expected to command a significantly higher price.
