1970’s Sports Car Racing

The 1970s was a notable period for sports car racing, with Porsche and Renault being among the prominent competitors of that time. Pedro Rodriguez set a new lap record of 3 minutes and 16.5 seconds, which was significantly faster than the current F1 lap record. These cars were known for their remarkable speed, reaching up to 257 km/h, making them the fastest racing cars in the world during that era.
