A sneak peek of the 2025 BMW X3 has surfaced on the internet

An anticipated updated version of the BMW X3 is set to debut later this year, with a leaked image circulating online. The image showcases a significant redesign of the SUV, featuring a unique grille pattern that incorporates diagonal and vertical lines. Drawing inspiration from the XM SUV, the new X3 displays a boxier front-end look and a prominent lower air dam, without the controversial pig-nose appearance. The one-piece headlights and sporty, digitally-inspired vibe give the SUV a sleeker silhouette compared to its predecessor.

Expected to offer four- and six-cylinder engine options upon release, the updated X3 is also speculated to introduce hybrid or PHEV models, with the all-electric iX3 joining the lineup at a later date. Built on BMW’s Neue Klasse architecture, the iX3 may diverge in design from the gas-powered X3 based on the leaked image. Although the leaked image doesn’t show an M Sport Package or an M-tuned version, it does hint at a potential plug-in variant with the presence of an additional “fuel” door on the fender.

In addition to the refreshed exterior design, the updated X3 will feature flush door handles and a wider track for enhanced stability. While interior images are still under wraps, expectations for a clean design with large screens and BMW’s latest iDrive infotainment software are high. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting new iteration of the BMW X3.
