The 2024 Nissan Rogue Gets a Refresh and Starts at $29,685, Slightly Higher for Updated Styling

In October, Nissan unveiled the updated Rogue, which received mixed reviews for its lack of variety but earned praise for its quiet, comfortable, and elegant design. The new model features a redesigned front fascia with a grille similar to the Ariya, Sentra, and Versa, as well as updated rear taillights and bumper. The top Platinum trim now boasts sleek gloss black exterior cladding instead of the previous unpainted plastic.

Interior updates on the SL and Platinum trims include a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen with a new operating system featuring Google Built-In. This allows for seamless integration of Google apps like Assistant and Maps without the need for a phone. Additionally, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard on all trims, along with updated USB ports to USB-C only.

Nissan has also extended the NissanConnect Services complimentary period to 3 years for certain features, offering remote start, emergency calling, and the ability to monitor service intervals through the MyNissan app. Higher trims also gain enhanced app functionality for remote HVAC control.

Under the hood, every Rogue is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with Nissan’s variable-compression system, producing 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. The vehicle comes standard with a continuously variable transmission, with the option to add all-wheel drive for an additional $1,500. Standard safety features across all trims include front and rear automatic braking, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross-traffic alert, and lane-departure warning. Additionally, Nissan’s ProPilot Assist highway driving assistance is available on all but the base S trim, and includes lane-centering and stop-and-go functionality. The SL and Platinum trims also utilize navigation data to adjust speed for highway curves.

Pricing for the 2024 Rogue remains relatively consistent with the previous model, with slight increases on the SL and Platinum trims due to the enhanced technology features. Additionally, some package prices have been adjusted, making certain premiums more affordable for customers. Although the 2024 Rogue has not been added to the Nissan USA configurator at this time, it is likely that the changes in package pricing are related to the updated technology offerings, with some features now included in the base price.
