The Ford Mustang Experience Center is about to become the ultimate destination for Pony Car enthusiasts

Ford’s commitment to providing unique experiences for Mustang owners continues to grow with the upcoming launch of the Mustang Experience Center. Set to open later this year near the Charlotte Motor Speedway, this center is being hailed as the ultimate destination for Mustang enthusiasts. In addition to a captivating Heritage Gallery showcasing 60 years of Mustang history, there will be a retail shop filled with exclusive merchandise for visitors to bring home a piece of the iconic brand. The Ford Performance Racing School will introduce Mustang Unleashed track day courses specifically tailored for the EcoBoost and GT trims, following the success of the Dark Horse Track Attack. Furthermore, aspiring racers can purchase aftermarket parts at the Mustang Experience parts shop to enhance their personal vehicles to match their newfound skills. Additionally, the facility will be available for hosting corporate events and even weddings, catering to individuals who share a passion for the Mustang legacy.

In an exciting development, Ford hints at the introduction of a new 1.7-mile road course at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, expected to open this quarter. This addition will offer a more diverse track day experience for visitors compared to the challenging Charlotte Roval, known for its unique combination of an infield road course and NASCAR banked oval.

On a competitive front, Ford has unveiled the Champion Spirit Livery for its new factory-backed Mustang GT3 IMSA racers, set to compete in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. This striking livery pays homage to eight iconic Mustang competition cars that made their mark from 1964 to 1997. The Ford Multimatic Motorsports team will make its debut in the Mustang GT3 IMSA at the Motul Course de Monterey Powered by Hyundai N at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca next month, sporting the Champion Spirit Livery. Subsequently, the team will showcase its standard livery from the Detroit Grand Prix onwards until the conclusion of the season. This move is a fitting tribute to the rich racing heritage of Ford and Mustang, reinforcing their commitment to excellence on and off the track.
