The Rolls-Royce Ghost, often seen as the “entry-level” model from the prestigious British automaker, is far from being ordinary with its starting price of nearly $350,000. However, the introduction of the limited edition Prism model is set to raise the exclusivity bar even higher.
To commemorate Rolls-Royce’s 120th anniversary in 2024, only 120 units of the Prism model will be produced, adding a touch of rarity to an already illustrious brand. While the exact number of units already sold remains undisclosed, it is common for loyal customers and high-profile individuals to have priority access to such exclusive releases, as they serve as ambassadors for the brand.
In a remarkable display of craftsmanship, the demo car of the Ghost Prism showcased a stunning Gunmetal gray finish that required 16 hours of intricate hand polishing and a meticulous ten-step painting process including four layers of paint application. The contrast is created with a high-gloss black-gray color on the grille and trunk lid, polished to a metallic finish to mimic the reflective qualities of a prism, hence the name of the vehicle.
For further personalization, buyers can select from four accent colors – Forge Yellow, Mandarin, Phoenix Red, and Mandarin – to enhance details like brake calipers, lower bumper inserts, and coachline, a design feature that harmonizes the various elements of the Ghost. Inside, the renowned Starlight Headliner, adorned with 1,040 individual LED “stars” across the roof, adds a touch of celestial luxury to the cabin.
While the Ghost Prism boasts exclusive features, Rolls-Royce ensures that buyers have access to the full range of customization options, from colors to materials and beyond. Typically, customers choose additional upgrades and options, significantly elevating the final purchase price beyond what is initially quoted, reflecting the true essence of bespoke luxury in the automotive world.
