2025 GMC Yukon receives updated design, enhanced technology, and increased luxury features.

It’s that time for the big GM SUV refresh, and GMC is ready to showcase the 2025 Yukon, following in the footsteps of the updated Tahoe and Escalade. With revised styling, new technology, and a touch of luxury, the 2025 Yukon is set to impress.

The latest Yukon features new grille designs for different trims, fresh headlights, taillights, square quad exhaust, and updated bumper designs at both the front and rear. The Denali Ultimate trim boasts a stunning new GMC badge that intricately depicts the topography of Mount Denali. Additionally, a new 24-inch wheel option is available exclusively for the Denali Ultimate, paired with air suspension and MagneRide dampers to ensure optimal ride quality even with the oversized wheels.

For the 2025 model year, GMC has streamlined the lineup by eliminating the SLE and SLT trims, introducing a single Elevation “base” trim. A new AT4 Ultimate variant is also available for those who desire off-road capabilities along with high-tech and luxury features, similar to the Denali trim level.

Inside, the 2025 Yukon boasts a massive 16.8-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system, previously seen in the Sierra EV. Running on Android Automotive software, the system offers Google Maps as the native navigation system and Google Assistant for voice control. The Yukon now features Night Vision thermal object detection in the digital cluster, along with various driver assistance systems and the option for Super Cruise.

The rear seats now come equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen for rear climate control. The Denali Ultimate trim offers a second-row “Executive Seating” package with heated, ventilated, and massaging captain’s chairs, in-headrest speakers, and more luxurious amenities.

In terms of powertrain options, the 2025 Yukon carries over the 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 engines unchanged, while the 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel inline-six receives updates for improved performance. Producing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, the diesel engine remains a popular choice with a 10-15% take rate since its introduction.

While pricing information is not yet available, GMC plans to release the updated 2025 Yukon for sale in the fourth quarter of this year, offering a blend of style, technology, and luxury in a full-size SUV package.
